Playoffs in Cyberdunk

www.cyberdunk.com

It seems everyone is a big fan of playoffs. I for one am not. For instance, if I had just endured a massive slog with my team and won my league, I do not then want to have to beat 3 more teams who are in the top 8 to make sure that I keep the title I just won. Sure, if they make it a separate title then I would be very happy for the playoffs to go ahead.

It may be good for teams viaing for promotion. Say for instance you finish 8th, you still have a chance to get promoted. Infact you only have to beat the first team you play as all four of the first round playoff winners get promoted. This is okay but I would still like a separate title for the league winners and one for the playoff winners, whether the league winners are promoted or not.

Bled Tigers

www.cyberpuck.com

On Sat 17th Oct, Fojkar was kind enough to give me his Slovenian team of the Bled Tigers. On Thu 5th Nov I made Blaze my Assistant Coach as he already manages our goalie, Holy Goalie.

We are currently 5th in our division in this the 7th Season of Cyberpuck. Bled Tigers have never won the Slovenian league but it is our goal to do so in the future.

I previously had 2 players who signed for the team back when Fojkar managed the side. This happened on Season 3 Day 24 when they left the side I managed of Milford Mooses from the UK. They went back to the Milford Mooses on Season 4 Day 36. I sold the players to a new manager, dbu plus my first ever player. My players were Greg Pucker, Goofy Gander, and Brian Bash. The last 2 of which played for Bled Tigers.

I have tried to sign all 3 of these players for my new team but have had no luck as of yet. I do however, have a new player called Gordon Bombay who has been scoring frequently for the Tigers.

Forum Overhaul

www.talkdep.com

The forum for the game of Cyberdunk has had an overhaul. The forums have been reorganized so that it's divided into the separate servers for ease of use. With the addition of the HS server and IS later, forums and threads were getting scrambled a bit. Sales threads are now in the CyberSports Transactions section and it is up to the seller to put his sales in the correct place.

Liverpool Leopards

www.cybersoccer.com

In Season 6 I took charge of a Liverpool team which had dropped down to the CS League One in the UK. I renamed the team Liverpool Leopards and got rid of three players. I signed my Argentian defender from my other team Arsenal Avalanche and began the season.

It was a terrible start! I lost 3 and drew 1. My team had to start playing if they were ever gonna get out of this league. We did start to win the majority of games but it was a rocky road. Fred Dibnah seemed to be our main scorer. Good British talent right there.

Well we ended up fourth in the end. We opened up a bottle of bubbly on our promotion to the CS Championship but afterwards I had to give the bad news to the boys that I was looking for new goals in my managerial career, and that I would not be with them next season. Although Liverpool Leopards had been promoted, my other team Arsenal Avalanche had been relegated from the CS Premiership. I decided I would take charge of another falling team that had managed to get promoted to the Premiership. I took control of Coys United.

Back to the Premiership

www.cybersoccer.com

Once again Arsenal Avalanche are back in the CS Premiership. Not finding it as easy as they did 2 seasons ago when they came 2nd in the CS Championship but this time coming 4th with 79pts. The teams above having 95 and 94 points and scoring nearly 3 times as many goals.

It wasn't easy keeping up with the big boys of the CS Premiership back in Season 4 or the first 2 seasons that it began. Realistically you need over 30 points to stay in the top flight otherwise it's championship football once again.

So the hope is that next season the lads can hold onto Premiership status and maybe do even better by challenging for the title.

The Rise to the Royal Premier

www.cyberdunk.com

I have managed the Portsmouth Sharks basketball team since Season 6 in which it took me 3 seasons to get out of the Prince League. The Queen League was no trouble as the team won it's first gold for coming top. Coming at what looks like 3rd place in the King League now ensures us the dream of playing in the UK Royal Premier.

It couldn't have been done without the help of Kevin Garrett, TJ Hamilton, Miles Milky, The King Junior, Majic Mahone, Nick Van Exel, Jermaine Smith, Cary Golob, Anthony, and many other players throughout the past 5 seasons. But none more than The King, who has been a scoring sensation, particular getting well over 2000 points in the last 2 seasons as well as being top assister. Now we wait with wonder to see how the Sharks fare in the Royal Premier.

Milford Mooses

www.cyberpuck.com

When CyberPuck first started I wanted to manage a team but I had no CyberPuck points. I wanted to be in the UK Division 1 so I drafted my player's onto teams there. One of the teams my player's were drafted to were Zagreb Mooses. I followed the team for 2 seasons. They came 2nd in the first season and 4th in the second season. The winners of the league for those 2 seasons were San Antonio Santos who were managed by BrockDePux. I thought I could provide some competition for him. So in Season 3 when I had gathered enough points I started to manage Zagreb Mooses and changed the name to Milford Mooses. I think I had started something though because 2 more teams got themselves human managers. They were The Spartans and the Lock Ness Monsters. At the start of the season I lost to The Spartans and I beat Lock Ness Monsters. I am up against San Antonio Santos soon. I don't think I will win as my defence is not strong enough yet but we shall see.

Wakefield Wizards History

www.cyberdunk.com

Wakefield Wizards are the first team to win the UK Premier League. In their first season they were known as Wakefield Old School and were managed by unoturbo. The runners up that season were Leeds Sabers (now known as Badalona Dimonis) and Wolverhampton Eagles (now known as Iron Eagles).

In later seasons they were managed by TintinH and were called Edimburgh Highlanders. On Day Twelve of Season 8 they were taken over by Dracolis who had won the team in a competition. Halfway through the season Dracolis renamed the team to Wakefield Wizards to help honor the team that won back in Season 1.
