Bled Tigers Triumph

www.cyberpuck.com

Bled Tigers had a successful last season. Despite coming 4th in the Slovenian League, we won in the playoffs against 2nd place Gum Swamp Leafs. We unfortunately lost to the same team in the Slovenia Cup but at least we won the playoffs.

I had a not so successful spell in charge of the country Spratley Islands. It would have been worse if I hadn't volunteered to take control as they had no team and no manager.

I just have my team, Bled Tigers to worry about now and we continue in the 8th Season where we left off, winning as many games as possible. If we don't win the league we can try again in the playoffs again so all is not lost.

The Elite League

www.cybersoccer.com

I joined the International Elite League with the team BarceComa FC. Previously there had been no way to get in the Elite League as all the teams were human owned and there was no promotion from the lower league. But the team I inherited was a newly promoted team with which I took over.

I had mentioned that there should be a second tier league to the Elite League. It was once the Latvian League which acted as the second tier but my idea may be implemented in the following season.

Blogging is good

www.focusdep.com

As I have been writing my blogs I realised something when I saw this quote:

" Learn as much by writing as by reading. " - Lord Acton

And I will have this quote in mind when I continue to blog.

The Blind League

www.talkdep.com

How do you get a brand new league which has it's own drafting system? Easy. You advertise it on www.talkdep.com asking people to join, saying every team is free.

That's what happened with The Blind League. People were told about a blind draft where they would be given the knowledge of a main skill but not know the rest of the skills or who the player was. Those that were interested in the league put their names down in the forum, and those that could give up players for the draft that fitted the set requirements, did so.

So far the league is fun to play in, and my team Harlem Boppers are hovering around the mid table area. I don't think I will win but I am hoping to get into one of the playoff spots.

My Cyberdunk Teams

www.cyberdunk.com

This season has seen me take control of a total of 6 teams at once. First my usual teams of Wakefield WIzards and Portsmouth Sharks. Add to that Leeds Sabers, Z Dynasty - Da Wiz Kidz, Flying Lazer Wizard Masters, and Harlem Boppers.

I first got Leeds Sabers after I had been given it along with a few thousand CDP and an extra player slot to promote my remaining player from the High School Server. The team were currently called Macclesfield Basket Town but I changed the team name back to it's original name of Leeds Sabers. It is my job to refill the roster and get them promoted from the UK King League.

I joined the Blind League at xmas as it was a new interesting league with a blind draft of equal rated players and ages. When I got my team I gave them the name of Harlem Boppers after the Boppers gang from The Warriors game.

I got hold of Da Wiz Kidz because DaWizard was dealing with other teams and wanted to give away two Z Dynasty teams so others could control them.

The last team I received was Flying Lazer Wizard Masters and it came as a bit of a surprise. It used to be owned by jlove13 and I assumed he had no time for it and so gave it over to my control.

Playoffs in Cyberdunk

www.cyberdunk.com

It seems everyone is a big fan of playoffs. I for one am not. For instance, if I had just endured a massive slog with my team and won my league, I do not then want to have to beat 3 more teams who are in the top 8 to make sure that I keep the title I just won. Sure, if they make it a separate title then I would be very happy for the playoffs to go ahead.

It may be good for teams viaing for promotion. Say for instance you finish 8th, you still have a chance to get promoted. Infact you only have to beat the first team you play as all four of the first round playoff winners get promoted. This is okay but I would still like a separate title for the league winners and one for the playoff winners, whether the league winners are promoted or not.

Bled Tigers

www.cyberpuck.com

On Sat 17th Oct, Fojkar was kind enough to give me his Slovenian team of the Bled Tigers. On Thu 5th Nov I made Blaze my Assistant Coach as he already manages our goalie, Holy Goalie.

We are currently 5th in our division in this the 7th Season of Cyberpuck. Bled Tigers have never won the Slovenian league but it is our goal to do so in the future.

I previously had 2 players who signed for the team back when Fojkar managed the side. This happened on Season 3 Day 24 when they left the side I managed of Milford Mooses from the UK. They went back to the Milford Mooses on Season 4 Day 36. I sold the players to a new manager, dbu plus my first ever player. My players were Greg Pucker, Goofy Gander, and Brian Bash. The last 2 of which played for Bled Tigers.

I have tried to sign all 3 of these players for my new team but have had no luck as of yet. I do however, have a new player called Gordon Bombay who has been scoring frequently for the Tigers.

Forum Overhaul

www.talkdep.com

The forum for the game of Cyberdunk has had an overhaul. The forums have been reorganized so that it's divided into the separate servers for ease of use. With the addition of the HS server and IS later, forums and threads were getting scrambled a bit. Sales threads are now in the CyberSports Transactions section and it is up to the seller to put his sales in the correct place.

Liverpool Leopards

www.cybersoccer.com

In Season 6 I took charge of a Liverpool team which had dropped down to the CS League One in the UK. I renamed the team Liverpool Leopards and got rid of three players. I signed my Argentian defender from my other team Arsenal Avalanche and began the season.

It was a terrible start! I lost 3 and drew 1. My team had to start playing if they were ever gonna get out of this league. We did start to win the majority of games but it was a rocky road. Fred Dibnah seemed to be our main scorer. Good British talent right there.

Well we ended up fourth in the end. We opened up a bottle of bubbly on our promotion to the CS Championship but afterwards I had to give the bad news to the boys that I was looking for new goals in my managerial career, and that I would not be with them next season. Although Liverpool Leopards had been promoted, my other team Arsenal Avalanche had been relegated from the CS Premiership. I decided I would take charge of another falling team that had managed to get promoted to the Premiership. I took control of Coys United.

Back to the Premiership

www.cybersoccer.com

Once again Arsenal Avalanche are back in the CS Premiership. Not finding it as easy as they did 2 seasons ago when they came 2nd in the CS Championship but this time coming 4th with 79pts. The teams above having 95 and 94 points and scoring nearly 3 times as many goals.

It wasn't easy keeping up with the big boys of the CS Premiership back in Season 4 or the first 2 seasons that it began. Realistically you need over 30 points to stay in the top flight otherwise it's championship football once again.

So the hope is that next season the lads can hold onto Premiership status and maybe do even better by challenging for the title.

The Rise to the Royal Premier

www.cyberdunk.com

I have managed the Portsmouth Sharks basketball team since Season 6 in which it took me 3 seasons to get out of the Prince League. The Queen League was no trouble as the team won it's first gold for coming top. Coming at what looks like 3rd place in the King League now ensures us the dream of playing in the UK Royal Premier.

It couldn't have been done without the help of Kevin Garrett, TJ Hamilton, Miles Milky, The King Junior, Majic Mahone, Nick Van Exel, Jermaine Smith, Cary Golob, Anthony, and many other players throughout the past 5 seasons. But none more than The King, who has been a scoring sensation, particular getting well over 2000 points in the last 2 seasons as well as being top assister. Now we wait with wonder to see how the Sharks fare in the Royal Premier.

Milford Mooses

www.cyberpuck.com

When CyberPuck first started I wanted to manage a team but I had no CyberPuck points. I wanted to be in the UK Division 1 so I drafted my player's onto teams there. One of the teams my player's were drafted to were Zagreb Mooses. I followed the team for 2 seasons. They came 2nd in the first season and 4th in the second season. The winners of the league for those 2 seasons were San Antonio Santos who were managed by BrockDePux. I thought I could provide some competition for him. So in Season 3 when I had gathered enough points I started to manage Zagreb Mooses and changed the name to Milford Mooses. I think I had started something though because 2 more teams got themselves human managers. They were The Spartans and the Lock Ness Monsters. At the start of the season I lost to The Spartans and I beat Lock Ness Monsters. I am up against San Antonio Santos soon. I don't think I will win as my defence is not strong enough yet but we shall see.

Wakefield Wizards History

www.cyberdunk.com

Wakefield Wizards are the first team to win the UK Premier League. In their first season they were known as Wakefield Old School and were managed by unoturbo. The runners up that season were Leeds Sabers (now known as Badalona Dimonis) and Wolverhampton Eagles (now known as Iron Eagles).

In later seasons they were managed by TintinH and were called Edimburgh Highlanders. On Day Twelve of Season 8 they were taken over by Dracolis who had won the team in a competition. Halfway through the season Dracolis renamed the team to Wakefield Wizards to help honor the team that won back in Season 1.

Winning a Cyberdunk Team

www.talkdep.com

Each season on Talkdep.com, a raffle is held where the winners each receive a free Cyberdunk team. I entered the raffle and was surprised to see my name come up in the list of winners. There had been 100 winners chosen instead of the usual 65 and although it had been a few days since they were announced, some had not claimed their free team. There was talk of given those teams to someone else but I quickly decided which team I wanted a messaged talkdep.

I decided to take charge of a team with a history. That being the first UK team to win the Premier League title in Season 1. The team back then was called Wakefield Old School. I inherited it with a changed name of Edimburgh Highlanders which I plan to change to Wakefield Warriors. I have the job of trying to stop them being relegated from the Queen League this Season 8. I have bought new players and also have my player Dirk Dunkley on the team as well.

CyberSoccer - The First Season

www.cybersoccer.com

I have the team of Backdoor Avalanche. I don't know what that means but I thought I would keep it for the 1st season and change the name for the next season. We are in the UK Division 1. At the start of the season I brought in a lot of players but towards the end a lot of them had become inactive and I had to let them go. My best goalkeeper was Genzo Wakabayash. Best defenders were Pomm Boonyarit, Jermaine Smith, and Cee Deez. Best midfielders were Justekass Kugis, Zinedine Zidane, and Josue Joshi. Best attackers were Didier Drogba, Cary Golob, Pastyulea George, and Chris Branch.

We spent the season below mid table and fighting for relegation. In the end we were just one spot above relegation with 3 more points than the team below us. The next season will be harder because 4 good teams have been promoted from the lower league and we will also lose a few of our good players who have not resigned their new contracts. Plus, hardly any players seem to want to join us even though we are a top league team.

Portsmouth Sharks - Midway Through Season 7

www.cyberdunk.com

Even with The King, the Portsmouth Sharks are finding it hard to break in the top 4 of the UK Prince League. This is all down to the 4 teams that got promoted from the Duke League. Tenerife Winners, Reefer Sharks, Ilkeston Robins, and Portsmouth Cougars. We have lost to all 4 and it looks like it will happen again for the next half of the season.

There are some positives we can take from this season. To start with we have The King. He has been MOM in most of the games he has played. He has the 8th most points, 3rd most assists, and 4th most steals. We are in 5th position, just 2 points behind 4th placed Robins. So we have a chance. The squad has been trimmed down to 10 players so we can bring in some new players if need be. So there is still hope for promotion.

Talkdep Forum League Names

www.talkdep.com

Because the United Kingdom league names had been changed in Cyberdunk, there therefore needed to be a change of the league names in the talkdep forum. I took this upon myself to post in the relative thread and show the names that were needed. I had UK Royal Premier, UK King League, UK Queen League, etc. I thought I would abbreviate United Kingdom as this has caused quite an annoyance, particular with United Kingdom King League. It made it easier and quicker to read I thought. It has somewhat tidied up the UK forums in talkdep but certain teams still need to be put in their correct leagues later on down the line.

Portsmouth Sharks - Into Season 7

www.cyberdunk.com

For this season I had signed Cary Golob and The King. I'd got rid of Addzey Willzey, Loreno Tezema, Igal Klebanov, and Ex Exior. I introduced my new Center, Milo Milky, and hoped he would grow to be a great player. Recently I signed another Shooting Guard, Yodaddy Anjomama.

Unfortunately, the start of the season was financially bad because I forgot to renew my manager's contract for the new season. So when the old one ended I lost $10 million from the team's funds. However, we are doing much better in the league this season and managed to get into the next round of the UK Cup.

Horrors of Online Gaming 1

Well, the other day, I received an email from cyberdunk telling me that my team ownership renewal was about to run out. So, I kept that in the back of my mind and I waited until the ownership ran out, so I could repurchase it. WRONG! I had to renew it BEFORE it ran out. Doesn't make much sense to me. I was very upset but, I was luckily able to rebuy the team and everything is ok now. From www.focusdep.com, I hope this quote will help me.

Study the past if you would divine the future. -Confucious

This means that I can learn from my past, and I won't mess up like that again!
